AWDF’S Endowment Campaign – “Women Changing Africa”

AWDF has embarked on an endowment campaign dubbed “Women Changing Africa” to guarantee sustainability for the work we fund. The Co-Chairs of AWDF’s endowment campaign are President Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia and Graca Machel. AWDF’s endowment campaign seeks to raise US$15million, US$10million will go into a restricted endowment fund with returns ploughed into grant-making and other programme activities with the remaining US$5million providing funding for critical issues African women are dealing with such as HIV/AIDS, violence against women and access to decision making
