Gifty Anti of GTV's 'The Standpoint'

Congratulations to Gifty Anti, Hostess of GTV’s ‘The Standpoint’.  Gifty is receiving an award this evening at the ‘Creative Industry Women Honors’, an  event being organised by the Musicians’ Union of Ghana. Gifty is one of Ghana’s most recognised broadcasters and very well known for her passion for women’s rights. Her programme, ‘The Standpoint’ is arguably one of the most feminist programmes on terrestrial television in Ghana and she has covered a range of thought provoking issues including ‘Celebrating Single Women’, ‘Who is a Feminist?’ and ‘Women and Financial Independence’.

In November 2010, Gifty was one of the resource persons for AWDF’s Convening on Women in the Arts alongside acclaimed South African songstress Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Nollywood actress Joke Silva and Kaine Agary winner of the 2008 Nigeria Prize for Literature.

Congratulations Gifty, Ayeekoo!!!

Congratulations anti gifty on your programs cos frankly i now like u and like your program it is inspiring and educative. To be frank firstly i taught the program was of no use and was made to help only people in your area but when i saw the program yesterday it inspired me a lot because it touched me when u said that u r there to support African women .I understood what the program means is to help African women and sharing views and helping in difficulties. That is why i want to be part of this program so that we can contact each other and help others who r Africans also cos i want us to be friends so that we can share some views.Am expecting your reply shortly cos am in a hurry to share ma views.

Thank the Lord and God bless you Gifty, we are all proud of you as an African woman I always watch your programme as it’s very educative, and important to all of us in general. But I would like to say something may be it will help even others. I am not a Ghanaian but would love to listen to this programme like today’s 12/04/13 ( INFANT & METANAL) it was very interesting to see how you care for us but the problem was I could not understand what Mr. Toufic Ayamga was saying!
because some of his words was in Local language where I reached a point to get lost yet I was following. Is there any way how you can solve and help this because we love the programme we don’t want to miss it. I will be very great full to have your reply. Thank you Sister and Congulaturations. I need to thank also Madam Florence Ofra, Madam Elizabeth Auah Vaah and Mr. Toufic Ayamga thank you.
